The NanoCon International Film Festival (NIFF) is thrilled to announce that the Columbia Theatre in Longview, Washington, will serve as one of the key screening venues for the 2025 festival season.
Now in its 7th year, NIFF has grown into a celebration of independent filmmaking that attracts thousands of submissions from around the globe. In 2025, nearly 3,000 short films were submitted by filmmakers representing 194 countries, making this season one of the most diverse yet.
The Columbia Theatre’s addition brings a layer of prestige and history to the festival. Originally opened in 1925, the Columbia has long been a cultural hub for Longview and the greater Cowlitz County community. Its beautifully restored interior and state-of-the-art projection make it an ideal setting for showcasing the best in international and local cinema.

Festival-goers can expect an unforgettable experience: the grandeur of the Columbia paired with the creativity of filmmakers from around the world. The venue will feature a curated lineup of films across all genres, from groundbreaking dramas to laugh-out-loud comedies, as well as experimental works pushing the boundaries of storytelling.
